Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
Futari (“we”, “us”) is a private, shared diary app for two people. This policy explains what information Futari collects, how it’s used, and the choices you have. Futari does not show ads, does not sell your data, and does not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
We use this information only to operate Futari: to show your entries and your partner’s shared entries to the two of you, to keep your streaks and countdowns accurate, to send the notifications you’ve opted into, and to unlock Premium features for subscribers.
Your diary entries are visible only to you and, if you’ve paired up, your partner. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. We use a small number of service providers to run Futari, each of which processes data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments:
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → “Delete my account” in the app — this immediately and permanently erases your entries, special days, and pairing information (your partner’s own entries are not affected). You can also request deletion by emailing cutedogstoryai@gmail.com.
Deleting your Futari account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — manage or cancel subscriptions from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
Futari is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We use industry-standard providers (Clerk, Google Firebase, Vercel) that encrypt data in transit and at rest, and we limit access to your data to what’s needed to operate the app.
If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
